Easy home remedies for dark circles

Hi Babies,

       Tried every cream to get rid of dark circles but didn’t get a fix yet! Yes this dark circle are caused due to insufficient sleep in our day today life many people follow a culture of sleeping late and waking you early and this is a major cause of this dark circles.

        We can overcome this dark circles temporarily or for few hours by applying a concealer which would help to get an even skin tone. But this is not a permanent cure, we can also do facial or eye massage in repeated intervals from some beauty expert but these may cost little high.

So , I have some home remedies to get rid of Dark circles which are low cost, very effective and shows a good results when tried consistently.

1. Cucumber pack
  Cut two slice of cucumber and place it over your eyes and just relax and sleep for 30 min everyday this will help in reducing dark circles. As cucumber is good for skin and helps in refreshing eye.



2. Spoon Pack
 Keep a spoon inside the freezer for an hour and then place it over your eye for a period of 20 min every day. This helps in cooling your eyes and gives a nice relaxation by reducing the dark circles.



3.  Potato pack
    Peel off a potato and cut it into two medium slice and place the slice in your eyes and leave it for 30 min do repeat it every day which will reduce the darkness around the eyes.

4.  Lemon pack
     Mix equal quantity of lemon juice and cucumber juice in a container and apply the liquid around your eyes and leave it for a 20 min and wash your face. This should be done regularly which will help to reduce dark circles.

5.  Tomato Pack
 Tomato is good for lightening skin tone so when you apply the tomato juice in your face the tanning will also reduce and the dark circle will also reduce leaving with an even color of the skin. Try applying it in alternative days for about 20-30 min and wash with plain water.

6. Drink water
   On top of all this drinking water is essential as water is a cure for almost all problems in our body likewise for dark circles this water plays an essential role. The dark circle or the puffiness beneath your eye is due to some toxic present so this gets diluted if you drink 8-10 glasses of water.

Smart Ways To Loose Weight

      We often workout hours together and think there is no change in our weights. In fact, that’s because we wouldn’t have been in a proper diet. Workout and proper diet at the right time will help in reducing weights effectively. I would like to share some information with you:

1.  Sleeping at right time:

                We often have a practice of getting up late and sleeping at late-night which many times affect our body health. We always need to have a proper schedule for waking up and going back to bed on proper time. There is a proverb which best suites this “Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise”






2. Physical activity for 30 min/day:

               We are always indulged in our work and dis-remember our health so it’s good to spend some amount of time for ourselves. These days things have been more automatic and computerized so we never get a chance to do any physical activates during our work. So it’s always good to spend at least 20-40 min/day in any kind of workout that’s comfortable for you like gym, aerobics, swimming or yoga as you like. This would relax our mind too.



3. Track your BMI:

   Always have a track of your weight and check your BMI (Body Mass Index) and know whether your weight is proper to your height as, if you have a BMI greater than 30 it may lead to obesity. Down is a general scale of BMI.
     
           BMI Categories:
       Underweight = <18 .5="" o:p="">
                                              Normal weight = 18.5–24.9
                                              Overweight = 25–29.9
                                              Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater.
    4. Consume Low fat food:
          Just to start with the diets avoid high fat and high calories food. Just as simple to start stop consuming fried items, sweets, soft drinks, cakes, ice-creams, chocolates, etc. Start eating Vegetables, fruits or fresh juices. Also use less sugar, salt in your cooking and replace rice with roti (wheat).



 5. Change your work space behavior:
     Our work orientation is generally computerized so it is wise to have breaks for at least 5 min for an hour intervals. We always have to follow healthy work space etiquette such as try to take lunch away from desk, go for small walk after lunch, etc.
6. Consume lot of water:
         An advice we often hear from others is to “Drink water” which is very essential as it might flush out toxin from our vital organs is one among its benefit. We generally neglect this advice but we have to drink almost 8 glasses of water that is 1.9 liters if we lack of water in our body it many lead to dehydration.
7.  Never skip breakfast:
     Breakfast tends to maintain and lose weight. Though people skip breakfast in the hope of losing weight they tend to eat more during lunch or even choose unhealthier options later on which results into weight gain. Always try to eat heavy breakfast, medium lunch and light dinner.
8. Consult doctor if drastic change in weight:
       If we have a sudden raise in our weight especially for women’s in the abdomen region it might be because of some medical reasons like PCOS, Thyroid, and Obesity etc. So it’s good to consult with doctor if you feel a sudden raise in weight this will help to know about our body conditions and good health.

       Just give a try to change few habits in your day today life and see a change in your mind and body. Hope this would motivate you for your weight reduction goals as this as stepping stone.

How to track your weight





          We often track our weight in our weighing scale in weights or pounds but there are other ways which could help you to motivate the weight loss by the way you measure your weight. Measuring weight every day is not a good habit as our body keeps fluctuating every day so measure weight on weekly basis and on the same time.

1. Using Inch tape :


Our body gets shaped up when we do exercises and when we workout our muscles gets strengthen. So sometimes even though we have not reduced weight we might feel our dresses are quite loose. So keep track of the measurements of your body for a month and see the differences. 
This inch tape measurement will help to concentrate on the part of the body which has lots of fat where you can work out extra to make it feel good and have a difference in your look. 




2. Taking photo of yourself before and after:


Take a photo of yourself before you start a diet plan or workout and every next week along with your tape measurement do remember don’t take a pic of yours after workout do it before workout in front of your mirror. When you do like this you will see you don’t want a body like this and try and take vigor’s workout and diet plans.

3. Tracking of what you eat and the timing’s :


Take a note book write everything that you eat and there timings even from a fruit to chocolate High calories food to low calories food don’t worry just keep noting everything and at the end of the 1 of these things in your note book like :

1. Eaten in un-times – like when watching Television we would have eaten junk foods or drank any soft drinks.




2. Not eaten in equal intervals – We always have to eat in proper intervals of time which we would have missed.

3. No Salad –We would not have taken any salad or fruit intakes on the week at all.

4. Eaten fried items –We often tend to eat oil items fast even a little would make a big difference.

      This list goes on. So when you see that you will come to know your intake is not according to your diet and then try reducing fat foods and follow your diet which will make a great difference in your weight. But don’t forget to write what you eat next week or until you get control on what you eat.

4. Track your weight:


Most often we measure our weight on daily basis which is not correct as our body is flexible and keeps changing every day and night. So it’s not a proper way to track our weight everyday so weigh your weight every week and before workout is an important thing to be noted. Just keep noting down the weight every week as the rest of things you note.

 Just keep everything tracked on weekly basis and later you will feel where we have gone wrong and this would help us to know where we our lagging in our weight reduction and will motivate us to be on proper workouts and diets. 

This is the way i used to follow when I used to go to aerobics classes this helped me reduced a good amount of weight with a good shape of body and apart from all this tracking I used to do workout for an hour everyday which helped me to achieve this goal.

        I know many of us come across this problem “Hair loss”. Whenever we comb or wash our hairs we feel a plenty of hairs come along our hands which makes us feel down. We all try some treatment’s to get freed of this by trying different shampoos & conditioners, different kinds of oil, packs and what not.

      Here I would love to share with you some tips and home remedies which will help you to reduce the hair losses.

 Apply oil & Massage before having a head bath:

        Applying coconut oil on your scalp a night before you take head bath and just give a gentle massage for your hairs by yourself and then wash your hair next day morning this way your hair will not alone reduce hair loss it also gives strength .This help in relaxing your body and reduce your body temperature.






Never apply conditioner to your scalp or till root:


        We always apply conditioner till the root of our hairs which will weaken the hair and lead to hair fall. So if you apply conditioner apply it by just flipping it down from bottom to half way.


Hair loss might be due to deficiency of iron:


        Hair loss may also be due to Iron deficiency so try eating lot of iron rich foods and have a balanced diet with healthy eating will have a great impact on preventing and lengthening the hair.

Stress Reduction: 



        Increase in stress will always lead to hair loss. So it is very important to be relaxed to control our Hair loss. To get rid of stress we can follow some exercise like yoga, aerobics which will not alone reduce stress it maintains our body, gives energy, helps in relaxing our mind. Do exercise with a proper guidelines of mentor this will give a great relief from hair loss.

1.  Yogurt and Fenugreek seed pack:


Ingredients:

  • One spoon of fenugreek powder 
  • 3-4 teaspoon yogurt.
  • 6-7 drops of lemon juice
Mix all the ingredient together in a bowl make a paste and apply this pack in your hair evenly and leave for an hour and wash it with herbal/organic shampoo. Apply 2 times a week. This will reduce hair fall and dandruff.     

  2.  Onion & almond oil pack:


Ingredients:

  • 1-Onion 
  • 8-drops of almond oil
  • Rose water
Blend an onion and extract juice from the onion and add  almond oil and rose water to it then apply the pack on your scalp to hair tip and leave for 45 min to 1 hr. You can massage gently for about 5-10 min,while applying. later shampoo your hair.This helps in hair fall issues.

 3.  Castrol oil & honey pack:


Ingredients:

  • 2-3 teaspoon of yogurt.
  • 2-teaspoon of castrol oil.
  • 1-teaspoon of honey.
Mix all these ingredients together and apply in hair and leave it for 30-45 min then shampoo your hair. Prevention hair loss and increase the hair growth.






4.  Aloe Vera pack:



Ingredients:


  • 1-tablespoon of aloe vera gel.
  • 2-tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1-tablespoon of lemon juice.

Mix all the ingredients well and apply this gel pack on your hair and leave for 30-min. Then shampoo your hairs.Gives strength and shine too hair with preventing hair loss.  

5.  Henna and mustard oil pack:


Ingredients:

  • Henna leafs
  • musturd oil 250 ml.
Boil henna leaf in 250 ml of mustard oil till the leaf are burnt in the oil and store the oil in some containers after it cools down. Massage your hair with this oil regularly which will increase the hair growth and reduce hair fall.

This is good for removing hair for a little growth and it is very easy for travelling.




Is it painful?

It is not that painful comparatively to the other techniques like threading, waxing but it might pain if you’re doing it for the first time. After a heavy growth it will hurt your skin so it is good when we use it often, might be when it grows little or like every next day practice. If you have a sensitive skin it may hurt a bit.

How to maintain?

When I got this tool it was as I expected nice color, simple but when I started using it, I felt little tough as it was not as easy as it looked and I too didn’t give up I tried many times in all possible ways sometimes with little growth and sometimes with heavy growth whatever it was I had faced issues with this product, It hurt me and I had red spots which took time to hell. As my skin type is sensitive it was not suitable for me and was time consuming. Where little hairs where only removed using this.

So I give a 1 star for this product.

I would say a NO for this hair remover tool.

Remedies for pimples

          We all sometimes come across pimples and acne scar and often think how to get rid of this. Here I have some ideas that might help you  in preventing and maintain pimples. Before that let us know


What is pimple? How are the formed?

          Pimples occur when the oil gland which is present in the base of hair follicles gets overactive. That’s when an oil gland is infected by the bacteria it swells up and fills with the pus. This pimples often occur in face and scalp. So following are some ways to reduce and prevent pimples.














1. No plucking and pressing(squeezing) pimples:


            We often start plucking or pressing the pimple as soon we see it which is not right. As the pimples are filled with pus when it is poked the pus comes out and we trend to get additional pimples which might also lead to acne. So never pluck and squeeze pimples.

 2.Washing your hairs regularly:

           When oil secretion is high in our hair it may lead to increase in pimples. So to reduce the oil content in our hair so we need to shampoo your hair regularly or at least 3-4 times a week so your oil in your hair gets controlled leading to control your pimples.        

3.No scrubbing of your face:


          Avoid scrubbing your face and avoid clothes to wipe your face. Wash your face with your hands and don’t apply any sunscreen’s which contains oils. Use products which are oil free on your face.

 4.Drink lot of water:


         Water is good remedies for all the problems in our body. Likewise drinking water will take away toxic matter from your body leading to reduce pimple.Also drink items which may cool down your body heat like buttermilk, tender coconut, Mint juice (pudina). This will cool down your body temperature and help in reducing pimples.

Tips and packs:


 1.  Keep wet mint leaf in the affected area and leave for few some time it will help in reducing pimple.

 2. Equal portions of lemon juice and rose water when applied on the affected area will help in reducing pimples.

3.. Take a slice of potato and tie it in muslin cloth and make it as a pad and just rotate circularly and rub it over face for 5 min and then wash the face which will reduce the pimple and scar.

4. Apply ripe tomatoes pulp on pimple and keep it for an hour than wash face which will help to reduce pimples.

5. Just keep rotating a slice of cumber on your face for 5-10 min and apply some blended cumber on face and leave it for half an hour and later wash your face.
